One of the most difficult barriers to entry for impoverished communities and small businesses is access to funding for their entities; including legal requirements before, during and after the incorporation of their social enterprises. LUTEJ offers the following services to each low-income entrepreneur to address this lacuna in the market:
- Professional preparation of all legal, contractual and financial requirements to initiate a social enterprise.
- Prepare a portfolio for each low-cost entrepreneur to qualify for a seed capital for their social enterprise.
- Registration of their social enterprises.
- Tax registration.
- Facilitation of application for funding.
- Management support by the SED.
- Suretyship for the seed capital by the SED.
- Facilitating the opening of a Business Bank Account.
